The one next to it is also clean; it came from my under-sink filter. I tested a bunch of bottled waters and most brands had dirty water in them. Some even had heavy metals! It's crazy! This tester is valuable, cheap, and functional. If you look at the photo with the Gallon of distilled water with baby on display, you will see it is clean.
