Originally was going to build a sheet metal funnel shelf to be able to pour oil pans, let them drain and put oil filters to drain too before throwing away. Thought about using expanded metal for the floor or using a plastic soda 2-liter type crate. I came across this Eagle drum funnel, and it is perfect for my needs. I purchased the lid too. Building a simple angle iron frame to hold funnel and I can slide the used oil jug underneath for small foot print. Not a flimsy product. Very solid, funnel has no flex. Am pleased. UPDATE: after reporting to Amazon, I was sent a brand new one. As you can see from my updated photos, it’s amazing and definitely heavy duty. We set it on our rain barrel. We shall see how it stands against the rain, but happy to have have gotten a better product. Received a very defective item, with holes in it. For $60 plus some change I would expect there to be better quality control before shipping. Someone literally saw the item, thought wow this looks right, put it in a box and shipped it to a customer.
