Mine have worked just fine. Right out of the box (Which was damaged before being put inside the Amazon box.) I tested 1 bottle by filling it with water and tightening the lid to what I would consider a "normal" hand tightness and turned it on it's side and placed it on a plate. After 24 hours I did not see any leaking. I did note there was a lightweight foam gasket inside the lid.I then tried to tighten the lid as hard as I could to see if it would break. I could not get it to fracture.After this the water was poured out and let the bottle dry. I then filled it with a soap (laundry detergent) and repeated the side ways spill test. No leaks. My experience so far has been positive.I do wish products could be delivered without having damaged boxes. I'm not sure I can fault Amazon for this one because the outer Amazon box was in perfect order.
