My monstera isn't very old, but it took three of the four support stakes to make a difference in the one plant. I was hoping to corral the stems together so it wouldn't be infringing on my peace lily's space, but these pieces are so small, each one struggled to contain a third of the plant. I don't recommend it because as the plant grows they can damage the stems.
