I chose the 'ultra' model for the larger viewing area and the possibility of monitoring up to about 5GHz. For a wide sweep, I most often limit my upper Freq to about 500M. The built in signal generator is also a very useful feature to have. For the cost, this is a 100% 5 star device. Review: Make sure you get the ultra model.
