This sageo has great color and firm. My Iaido instructor really likes it. It is red on one side and black on the other. When I tied it to the Saya I took same colored sewing thread and tied it tight around the sageo bunching the material. Added a drop of super glue then cut the sageo about 1/2 inch from the glued thread ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for Bokkens/training swords *by S***D on Reviewed in the United States on July 9, 2017* I make custom bokken a and other martial art weapons and I got these to wrap bokken handles for customers who wanted it. They worked perfect. Thus far I've only used the imitation silk but I like the feel of them and they are far more affordable than the $7-$15 per foot of high quality silk Ito. If you're looking for something to wrap your training sword, or bokken, I haven't found a more affordable (and functional) option. I also like long handles and these wraps were able to do a 13" handle. If you go anything longer I would doubt you could do it only one strand. ### ⭐⭐⭐ It works but it's still cheap-o *by Z***N on Reviewed in the United States on October 8, 2016* This is still the cheap ito you would get if you buy a $60 chinese made sword. Don't expect this to be an upgrade if you bought one of those. That being said if you want to get it because you messed up your sageo or tsuka ito for your cheap sword go ahead and pick it up.
