I originally ordered two packs of these in Small and both sold as “New”. When I opened them, each pack contained two Small pairs and one Medium pair (in both packs!!). I put both of the mediums back into one of the packages, contacted Amazon about the issue, and got it replaced. The replacement pack was correct with all 3 pairs the same size, but that was a weird and frustrating experience. Now to the underwear review. These boxer briefs are pretty good for the price. I bought them to wear to work. I’m an ICU nurse who is prone to sweating, and the combination of working in an older hospital building that has inconsistent A/C and with coworkers who feel entitled to turn the thermostat up whenever they are cold means that I am frequently drenched in sweat. These boxer briefs don’t keep me from getting sweaty, but they do dry very quickly when I’m able to have a few minutes to cool down. I really like that about them. That being said, I also have very comparable pairs from both UnderArmour and Reebok. These New Balance are the thinnest material of the the three brands, which feels slightly lower quality in my mind. Yes, the UA are MUCH more expensive, but the Reebok’s were actually slightly cheaper than these (purchased at a warehouse club). So minus points there. These NB are also good at holding their shape and fit well other than the length hits right at the bottom of my butt. I know I chose to buy this inseam length, so I’m not counting it against them. I’m just saying that it is a strange, new feeling to me that I don’t really like. I will say that once I really start my day, I don’t really notice it.
