This 20-piece set of 1/4" OD quick connect push-fit fittings is designed for reverse osmosis and water filtration systems. ## Description

Where to use it ? Applications include RO system, beverage dispensing, refrigerator ice maker, coffee machine etc. How to use it ? Just pop in your 1/4" tubing into tubing end, pushing until it won't go in. To remove, just push in the outer circle on either end and pull right out. You need to make sure the tubing is cut squared to insure no leaks. The fitting ensures an easier working environment in confined places, is approved for behind the wall installations, and removes the need for hot works on site. Push-fit plastic fitting for the connection of plastic, copper, and CPVC pipe. Simply push the fitting fully onto the pipe and twist the plastic nut clockwise to lock in place.

Review: Work Well - You can't beat the price on these. They work well. Although I did learn that you can't use the blue retaining clips on them. I had water spraying everywhere until I removed the clips. At that point I had to say outloud, "Thats why they didn't include them!?!"
Review: surprisingly, good quality and easy to use - this is a nice little kit. I was pleasantly surprised. I was plumbing a whole camper filter system into a camper. Most of it was half inch pex which I have the tools for, however, for the freshwater Spicket at the kitchen sink and the refrigerator they dropped it down to quarter inch I was never really comfortable with these push lock type fittings, but they really do work and I have not had a leak granted at maximum. We probably run 60 pounds of pressure in the camper, but it was a piece of cake to install these. One thing I did like if you make a mistake and you want to get the fitting off, there's a release mechanism built into it and the tube comes right out. You can't do that with.pex

**Q: Any reason these would not work in my outdoor drip lines?**
A: No reason it would not work, as long as the outside diameter of the tubing is correct

**Q: Are these fittings rated for potable water? What type of plastic is it?**
A: I'm using these for my fridge, ice and water and I haven't died yet.

**Q: will 1/4" OD copper tube fit as well?**
A: 1/4” OD pipe has a thinner wall and may not work. Plus it’s ridged on the cut ends and may not seal properly.

**Q: Would these work with hydration bladder tubing?**
A: If you bladder tubing is soft silicon rubber type it is too flexible to work. You will need a ferruled nipple type connector.
