Does it support auto-level able to record something as loud as a live rock band as an example?** A: The recorded audio is mono, coming from a single microphone directly on top of the unit. It does a fine job for normal level stuff, but I haven't used it for anything concert-level yet. I don't see any audio controls on the app, so I doubt you would want to rely on its own capability at that volume for anything other than syncing dual-system recording; I'm looking at getting a Zoom H3VR. Love the camera! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome VR Camera *by D***E on January 25, 2019* I’ve taken this with me on a few travels now, and I’ve gotta say, this was well worth the investment. It’s fun to show off, and a good way to revisit memories when I’m back home.It’s not perfect yet, but I’m satisfied with where it’s at, as long as it continues to improve. Photos have a lot of noise, so images end up a bit grainy, and I’ve not figured out a way for the photo side of the camera to capture motion without making it a blur. The latter, I expect to be a software issue; the former...probably can’t be fixed with a few lines of code, unfortunately. I would love to be wrong about that, though.If you do buy this, first of all, congrats. Second, make sure you have the right kind of SD card for it. I’d plugged in a cheapo at first, and the camera would record for ~40 seconds before giving up. The data transfer rate must be high enough on the card to work for longer. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Fun Camera but Android app has a bug *by S***G on September 25, 2018* I really liked the videos shot on this camera. The quality of the videos are great for the price. The 3d VR videos looked awesome while viewing them on my Samsung VR headset. But I can only give it 3 stars for now because my edited 360 videos were all missing its audio track when rendering them on the Android app. I verified that this was not working on my Android app because I was able to use my wife's iPhone and the audio worked with the iPhone app. I am guessing this is a specific bug for Android. I will gladly update the rating if this bug is fixed. ### ⭐⭐ not great *by A***N on February 3, 2020* I suppose for the low-ish price it is ok, but I found it buggy and the user manuals quite poor. If install goes perfect, the manuals are fine, but it did not go perfectly for me so I was left with hours of screwing around to get it to work. I ended up returning it because it perpetually gave error messages about battery not being charged when it was fully charged, it would flash errors that the memory card was missing when it wasnt, and worst of all, it did not work on 2 of the android phones I have and I had to run it on an iphone 6s which is not my best phone. Resolution was just fair, and the software for the camera and for rendering was too basic to be helpful. 2 stars since it did work, just poorly.
