I forgot after using it for three weeks that this pillow was not buckwheat like the others in fact. I think it is the best pillow I bought which means it's better than the other ones. That is my opinion. **Q: Is the pillow itself washable?** A: Hi, the paper that came with mine said of the pillow: "Do Not Machine Wash. Do Not Machine Dry. Spot Clean Only. Do Not Hand Wash. Do Not Dry Clean." For the pillow case that comes with it: "Machine Washable. Hang Dry. Do Not Machine Dry." So basically the pillow case is washable but not the pillow itself. I just bought a new one to well just have on hand because I don't ever want to be without one. Sorry for the bad reviews it's getting. I am and always have been a side sleeper and this helps so much with neck and shoulder pain. I fall asleep fast and wake up with no pain.
