**Q: The description aays black but when click to add to cart only shows brown?**
A: The black and white are out of stock and will be available around April

**Q: any reason I couldn't install these upside down so there isn't a lip on top?**
A: I see no reason why you couldn’t. There are lips on the front of the shelving as well

**Q: How much weight could this hold? Several stacked books? Also, would this be able to be installed using adhesive mounts?**
A: Everything depends on how you hang them. If they're in a stud, you could put lots of weight. With a wall anchor, not as much. Self adhesive strips might hold spices but not much more
