If you want less caffeine, the non-bold version only has 60 mg per bottle. **Q: Does the cold green tea have the same health benefits as hot green tea?** A: I think what you want to ask is: does bottled tea have the same health benefits as freshly brewed tea? I heard that it doesn't. I think you lose some healthy components like within an hour after it is brewed. I don't think Bottling preserves everything good in fresh tea. I bet this has been researched. Wonder what good things are left in bottled teas, and if there's any Bad components created. Pretty sure plastic bottles will add some bad components. **Q: Is this product made in Japan or China? I've seen product listing that state one or the other ... Thank you!** A: This clearly states on the box they come in and the bottles that it's a product of Taiwan. It is misleading because their Amazon account says made in Japan etc... The leaves might be from Japan but it's not a product of Japan. I was dissapointed when I saw this but I still like the tea. **Q: Do you have glass or metal bottles as an option?** A: No just plastic bottles ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bien frío! *by on Reviewed in Mexico May 31, 2026* Delicioso sabor característico del té con todo su umami típico. Bien frío es la mejor solución para el calor y según dicen ayuda a quemar grasa. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom July 23, 2026* Great to be able to get authentic green tea in the uk - just like we had in Japan! Excellent and fast service too! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The gold standard for real, sugar-free green tea. *by on Reviewed in the United States May 31, 2026* Pros:Authentic Japanese Flavor: If you are tired of American-style "green teas" that are loaded with sugar, honey, or artificial fruit flavors, this is exactly what you are looking for. It tastes precisely like a fresh pot of brewed Japanese sencha—earthy, crisp, clean, and slightly grassy.Zero Sugar or Sweeteners: It has zero calories, zero sugar, and absolutely no artificial sweeteners (no stevia or erythritol to leave a weird aftertaste). It is pure, guilt-free hydration.Great Visual / Pop Culture Nod: If you watch anime or have traveled to Japan, you’ll immediately recognize the iconic green bottle. It's great to toss into a gym bag or leave on an office desk.Nice Refreshing Pick-Me-Up: It features a medium caffeine boost that gives you a gentle wave of focus and mental clarity without the intense jitters or crash of an energy drink or strong coffee.Cons:An Acquired Taste for Some: Because it is completely unsweetened, it does have a natural, subtle touch of bitterness and a deeply earthy profile. If you are used to sweet iced teas, it might take a few bottles to adjust to the flavor profile.Price Fluctuations: Buying it in bulk online can sometimes be subject to price shifts depending on stock levels, though it usually still beats buying individual bottles at a specialty market.Final Verdict:This is hands-down the best ready-to-drink bottled green tea on the market. It is crisp, refreshing, and holds true to traditional tea culture. If you love pure tea or want a healthy, crisp alternative to water and sugary sodas, a 12-pack of this is an absolute must-have. ## Frequently Bought Together - Ito En Tea Oi Ocha Green Tea, Unsweetened, 16.9 Ounce (Pack of 12) - Ito En Tea Golden Oolong Tea, Unsweetened, 16.9 Ounce (Pack of 12) - Teas' Tea Unsweetened Pure Green Tea, Organic, Sugar Free, 0 Calories, 16.9 Ounce (Pack of 12) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/735072887-ito-en-tea-oi-ocha-green-tea-unsweetened-16-9](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/735072887-ito-en-tea-oi-ocha-green-tea-unsweetened-16-9) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
