Sadly, I found about a dozen mouse droppings in the bag. I'm not sure if I will buy this brand again. **Q: How long does it take to cook?** A: They cook really fast. It just takes a few minutes. I was surprised at how fast they were ready. **Q: Is this hulless?** A: Rolled flat whole grain barley, ready to cook with added water to the tenderness desired. **Q: Will it sprout?** A: These are flakes-- I use as an alternative to oats.. barley is more chewy however in recipes!
