### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent for introducing reading

I used this book to teach my oldest son. He did very well with it! The lessons are simple and straight-forward, and give lots of detail for the parent on how to present the material. You don't need a teaching background to use this book, and it doesn't require any kind of prep work, so is great for families that want an open-and-go approach to learning to read!

Well, it worked for us. My child was reading level one phonics books in a couple of weeks. It doesnt take up much time, and though it feels it is going slowly, it just seemed to click with my 4 year old. He is now reading reasonably confidently! On the minus side, it is very boring for the adult, Im afraid....but IT WORKS...so...

I am teaching my 4 year old daughter to read with this book. We are up to lesson 60. In two months she went from reading single letters to reading paragraphs. This book is extraordinary, and easily delivers on its promise. I don't know how I would have approached this huge task otherwise. Many heartfelt thanks to these authors. Best $20 a parent will ever spend.
