These games are the same. If you have any questions, I will be glad to help. **Q: Does this come with the classic pawns?** A: Hi. Yes, the Galt Toys version comes with the classic pawns, so no need to apply stickers. This version also comes with a new, quick-play training mission, using only the Marshal, the flag, one Lieutenant, two Miners, two Scouts, two Bombs, and the Spy. All instructions are in English, French, and Spanish. **Q: What is the purpose of the envelopes?** A: Its a good game. **Q: size of playing board?** A: I gave it as a gift, so I can't measure it. As I remember, the board is about the same size as the original version. The pieces are a bit larger, though. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exclente juego *by on Reviewed in Mexico January 29, 2024* Llego muy bien, ya conocia el juego. Es bastante entretenido ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Classic Strategy Game That Still Holds Up *by on Reviewed in the United States July 9, 2025* Stratego has been a staple in our family’s board game collection for years, and this original edition continues to deliver that same timeless, tactical fun. It’s simple to learn but endlessly replayable—and perfect for game nights or teaching kids how to think ahead.🎖️ Strategic Depth with Simple RulesThe rulebook (visible on page 2) explains gameplay clearly, making it easy for new players to jump in. It’s a one-on-one game where each player arranges their army and uses bluff, memory, and deduction to capture the opponent’s flag. There’s no luck involved—just pure strategy.🧠 Great for Critical ThinkingAs shown in the product description on page 2, this game builds planning and decision-making skills. My 9-year-old quickly picked up the mechanics, and now he asks to play all the time. It’s also great for adults—engaging without being overly complicated.📦 Quality Components, Nostalgic DesignThe pieces are well-made and sturdy (page 4 reviews confirm this), with a classic red-and-blue army theme. The board folds flat and fits neatly into the box. It’s the same quality you remember from the past, now with a sharper, modern presentation.👨‍👩‍👦 Perfect for 2 PlayersUnlike many games that require a group, Stratego is designed specifically for 2 players—making it great for parent–child bonding or casual competition between friends.✅ Pros:Great balance of simplicity and strategyDurable, nostalgic componentsEasy setup and replay valueIdeal for kids and adults alike❌ Cons:Only supports 2 players (but that’s by design)Overall:If you’ve never played Stratego, now is the time. And if you’re returning to it, this edition is a fantastic reintroduction. Classic, satisfying, and endlessly fun—I’d recommend it to anyone who enjoys smart, head-to-head games. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bien *by on Reviewed in Mexico December 19, 2023* El diseño de las piezas no es tan bueno el tablero me encantó ## Frequently Bought Together - Jumbo, Stratego - Original, Strategy Board Game, 2 Players, Ages 8 Year Plus - Risk Board Game, Strategy Games for 2-5 Players, Strategy Board Games for Teens, Adults, and Family, War Games, Ages 10 and Up - Battleship Classic Board Game | Strategy Games for Kids and Adults | Ages 7+ | 2 Players | Fun Kids Games | Family Games --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/733104684-jumbo-stratego-original-strategy-board-game-2-players-ages-8](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/733104684-jumbo-stratego-original-strategy-board-game-2-players-ages-8) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
