## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will it work with my internet provider, and do I need a modem?**
A: Works with any internet provider, cable, fiber, or satellite. This is a mesh WiFi system, not a modem. A separate modem is required. Some gateways and modem router combos may require bridge mode; check your ISP's app or support to enable equipment.

**Q: Where should I place the satellites for the best connection?**
A: Place each satellite in an open area, off the floor, and within range of the router or another satellite. Avoid enclosed spaces and thick walls. Use the Orbi app's signal meter to confirm the best spot.

**Q: How easy is setup, and do I need the app?**
A: Set up using the Orbi app with guided step-by-step instructions. Manage devices and guest WiFi from anywhere. Internet must be active on your modem before setup. Web browser setup is also available.

**Q: Which pack size is right for my home?**
A: Coverage varies by walls, floors, and layout, not just square footage. 2-Pack covers up to 5,500 sq ft. 3-Pack covers up to 8,000 sq ft. Add an Orbi 770 Series satellite, RBE770, any time for up to 2,750 sq ft more.

**Q: Do I need a WiFi 7 device to see the full benefit?**
A: No. Orbi is backward compatible with WiFi 6, WiFi 5, and older devices, so nothing in your home needs replacing. Full WiFi 7 speeds require a WiFi 6E or WiFi 7 device. Real-world speeds depend on your connected devices and internet plan.
