Review: Great Pool Underlayment Pad! - Not as thick as I expected, but it's quite durable and did provide a softer footing under the pool lining. It's been installed for a few months. I left a foot of the pad exposed all the way round the pool and it works great to keep grass and weeds from growing around the pool edges. I covered the overlap with rubber mulch and bordered it with paving stones. Looks great!

Not as thick as I expected, but it's quite durable and did provide a softer footing under the pool lining. It's been installed for a few months. I left a foot of the pad exposed all the way round the pool and it works great to keep grass and weeds from growing around the pool edges.
