DGD Series Cartridges are designed for purity and will not impart taste, odor or color to the liquid being filtered. Additionally, the polypropylene construction provides superior chemical resistance. The DGD Series' advanced design combines selective final filtration with appropriate pre-filtration to achieve up to three times the dirt holding capacity of similar size sediment cartridges and even greater capacity than standard spun or string-wound cartridges. The larger diameter of the filter reduces the particle load, allowing it to operate at higher velocities. The effective filter depth is increased to a full 233%. This increased depth provides very high particulate reduction efficiencies and added loading capacity. The design and performance characteristics of the DGD Series Cartridges make them an excellent choice for all residential, rural, municipal and commercial applications. ## Features - KEEP YOUR WATER CLEAN and protect your appliances by removing dirt, sand, silt and particulates. DGD Big Blue water filter cartridges are designed for purity and will NOT impart taste, odor or color to your water - IDEAL HIGH-FLOW PRE-FILTER. Filter density increases toward the cartridge's center resulting in superior particulate reduction and 3X the dirt holding capacity of similar size sediment cartridges - TESTED AND CERTIFIED BY NSF INTERNATIONAL to NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for your peace of mind. Manufactured with 100% pure polypropylene - SIZED FOR USE IN ALL 20 inch Big Blue filter housings (or other heavy duty filter housings) and can replace any 20 inch x 4.5 inch sediment filter cartridge - REPLACE EVERY 6 MONTHS or when you notice a drop in water pressure or water quality for best results and performance ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0CCT3RVB5 | | Benefits | Protects appliances by removing dirt, sand, silt, and particulates; provides high-flow pre-filtration; certified by NSF International; replaces any 20 inch x 4.5 inch sediment filter cartridge | | Brand Name | Pentek | | Customer Reviews | 4.9 4.9 out of 5 stars (28) | | External Testing Certification | ANSI, NSF | | Global Trade Identification Number | 30051678356433 | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 11.4D x 11.4W x 50.8H centimetres | | Item Type Name | Pentair Pentek DGD-7525-20 Big Blue Water Filter | | Manufacturer | Pentair | | Manufacturer Part Number | 155356-43 | | Material Type | Polypropylene (PP) | | Model Number | DGD-7525-20 | | Number of Items | 6 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Unit Count | 6.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Pentek - **External testing certification:** ANSI, NSF - **Material:** Polypropylene (PP) - **Product dimensions:** 11.4D x 11.4W x 50.8H centimetres ## Images ![Pentek Pentair DGD-7525-20 Big Blue Water Filter, Polypropylene (PP), White - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71W74LU7TXL.jpg) ![Pentek Pentair DGD-7525-20 Big Blue Water Filter, Polypropylene (PP), White - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/411MLRK8OlL.jpg) ![Pentek Pentair DGD-7525-20 Big Blue Water Filter, Polypropylene (PP), White - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51dOpUZ-kwL.jpg) ![Pentek Pentair DGD-7525-20 Big Blue Water Filter, Polypropylene (PP), White - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51KmmHl-kGL.jpg) ![Pentek Pentair DGD-7525-20 Big Blue Water Filter, Polypropylene (PP), White - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41pRfHQlkGL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size, Style** options. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/731705866-pentek-pentair-dgd-7525-20-big-blue-water-filter-polypropylene](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/731705866-pentek-pentair-dgd-7525-20-big-blue-water-filter-polypropylene) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
