They recommend you use these To help keep the force of the water from the bottom edge of your pool. Really no difficulty putting them in as they come with an adhesive on them. Just make sure if you're Putting the Waveless foam on the walls that you stick the bottom of the insulation To the wall as well as the top. Otherwise it can be difficult to put this edge in.
