It makes more sense that it does not, so I really do wonder how my brain works. Just got it today, but the lid seems to close just fine. Worried about it being a touchscreen, but I guess we will see. The keys don't show all of the oil that the original keyboard does, which is what was bothering me so much. Another big perk is the feeling of the keys. My fingers slip on the keys when I have long nails, but as this is a silicone textured button, they don't slip off. It seems to be settling and fitting better even in just the few minutes that I have been using it.
