When I found this, I was so happy about the price and style. The actual lighting was exactly as I expected. It didn't come with a light bulb as described. Amazon recommended "Bulbrite 134019 40W Nostalgic Edison Squirrel Cage-style Bulb " so I purchased the same type of light bulb at a local store. BUT I really don't recommend this type of nostalgic style light bulb because it is so DARK! You need more than one light fixture to lighten an area. So I switched to a LED light bulb, which didn't affect the look or style. If you would like to make a perfect nostalgic look, you might need 2 or 3 these fixtures. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bright light for darker areas. *by S***O on Reviewed in the United States on December 28, 2014* Perfect in the hallway. This light was a little harder to install since it didn't come with a cover plate for the ceiling and the electrician had to buy the parts. It replaced a recessed light. The clear glass gives off the light above, on the walls and below.
