The dimensions under “About this item” are correct, however a quick glance at the pictures and title seem to indicate it is a 9u rack with a depth of 30” (which is the standard depth for typical servers). Searching for “server rack enclosure”, or any permutation thereof, on Amazon shows a plethora of network equipment enclosures which is more of an Amazon problem than the seller, however removing the keyword “server” from the listing would help prevent these results from showing when one is looking for a server rack instead of a network/equipment rack.Despite this shortcoming, the rack is sturdy and fairly easy to assemble once you dig out the magnifying glass to view the included assembly instructions. The assembly instructions refer to the parts by alpha-numeric designations, but the parts are not labeled and the pictures in the instructions are a bit difficult to decipher. If you’re looking for a network/equipment rack, then this one will certainly do the job. If you’re looking for a server rack, then keep looking because this won’t fit the bill. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well made, no sharp edges, good finish quality. *by on Reviewed in the United States 23 February 2023* I got the 9u rack, and am happy with my purchase. The metal (steel I assume) is thick, and in no way flimsy. The paint (or powder coat, not sure) is good, and it arrived with no chips or scratches. All hardware (plus extras) came in individually labeled bags, and was well machined. The manual was just ok, but honestly the rack assembly is straightforward, and it could probably be done without a manual. The one issue I had was aligning the front panel after the sides, top, and bottom were on. I’m not sure if I was hitting some tab I couldn’t see, but it seemed like it took more force than would be expected to get it on. Loosely screwing the front panel on helped to keep the top and bottom from falling off.In general this is a well made rack, with well machined hardware. If I needed another one, I would buy it again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Short depth rack. WARNING. *by on Reviewed in the United States 26 March 2026* Know what you are ordering. This is a shallow depth rack. Mind you it's a really well built one, but it is shallow.Better for NVR and house music/PA.Do not order this product if you are installing anything over 14" deep. Full depth 2U (see pics) did not fit. Also, they painted the brand name on the bottom plate as opposed to the top plate.Still an unbelievable value for the money. ## Frequently Bought Together - 6U Wall Mount Server Cabinet Network Rack Enclosure Locking Glass Door by Tedgetal - StarTech.com 8 Outlet Horizontal 1U Rack Mount PDU Power Strip for Network Server Racks - Surge Protection - 120V/15A - w/ 6ft Power Cord (RKPW081915) - AC Infinity Vented Cantilever 1U Universal Rack Shelf, 10" Deep, for 19” Equipment Racks.
