I use this for half marathons and haven't had trouble with chaffing after 2-2.5 hours. I've used it for a sprint tri (about 2 hours) and it worked well even though I swam. I've used it on normal days (when I'm not working out) and find that it works for 8+ hours. How long the whole stick lasts depends on how often you use it and how much of your body you use it on. **Q: Is it greasy or leave stains on clothing it contacts? For example if I use it on my chest for a long run wiill it bleed through the shirt to the front** A: Mine Has not.
