Dishwasher safe (lids off) and freezer friendly, these jars combine practicality with sleek design to elevate your storage game. ## Description Perfect for Homemade Goodness ComSaf Mason jars come in 4oz, 8oz, 16oz, 32oz, and 64oz sizes, making them ideal for a variety of homemade creations such as sauces, pickles, and beverages. Made from durable glass with excellent sealing properties, these jars help preserve freshness and flavor. Whether you're storing condiments or preparing refreshing drinks, these Mason jars are a versatile and reliable solution for every kitchen need. Thoughtfully Designed to Protect Your Product Can these jars be used for traditional water-bath canning and fermentation, and do the lids provide an airtight seal? These are ideal for airtight storage and pickling. The built-in food-grade silicone gasket ensures a secure, leak-proof seal to keep your contents fresh for months. Are the metal lids rust-resistant, and what is the best way to clean them for long-term use? Lids feature a rust-resistant finish. To maintain it, please hand wash and dry immediately with a cloth. Avoid soaking or air-drying in damp areas. Do these jars follow standard mouth specifications for lid replacements and accessories? These jars feature a custom wide opening (larger than 86mm). Please note they do not fit standard 86mm Mason accessories. We recommend using the original lids to maintain the best leak-proof performance. Is the glass durable for dishwasher and freezer use, and can it be heated in the microwave? Made of thick soda-lime glass, these are dishwasher (glass only) and freezer safe (leave headspace). To prevent thermal shock, we do not recommend microwave or oven use. What types of food are recommended for this specific jar size, and is it suitable for long-term pickling? Perfect for bulk dry goods (flour, oats, sugar) and large-batch fermentation like kimchi—extra-wide mouth enables easy scooping and stirring. Ideal for pantry organization and home fermenting. It also helps when adding larger vegetables, tea bags, fruit, or fermentation ingredients. - Airtight Lids for Everyday Storage: One-piece airtight lids help protect dry goods and prepared batches. These jars support water bath use with proper steps, but they are not designed for vacuum sealing. - Care for Large Jars: Because these 1 gallon jars are large, dishwasher fit depends on your machine and rack space; hand washing may be easier. Dry lids after washing, and avoid sudden temperature changes. - 2 Pack with Labels: Includes two 1 gallon / 128 oz wide mouth glass jars with airtight lids, plus 2 black labels. Smooth glass sides make contents easy to see but do not include measurement marks. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Asin | B0F18YMW48 | | Best Sellers Rank | #842 in Kitchen & Dining (See Top 100 in Kitchen & Dining) #6 in Canning Jars | | Brand Name | ComSaf | | Capacity | 3800 ml | | Closure Type | Screw Top | | Color | Transparent | | Container Shape | Round | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars (218) 4.5 out of 5 stars | | Food Storage Container Airtightness | Airtight | | Included Components | 2 black stickers, 2 jars | | Item Dimensions L X W X H | 6.1"L x 6.1"W x 10"H | | Item Form | Jar | | Item Volume | 3800 ml | | Lid Material | Metal | | Manufacturer | ComSaf | | Material Features | Food Grade | | Material Type | Glass | | Material Type Free | BPA Free | | Other Special Features Of The Product | Air Tight, Durable, See Through, Sturdy | | Package Quantity | 2 | | Product Care Instructions | Dishwasher Safe(lid off), Freezer Safe, Hand Wash Only | | Recommended Uses For Product | Eggs, Flour, Pickle, Sugar, SunTea | | Size | 1 gallon x 2 - Integrated Lid | | Specific Uses For Product | Canning | | Unit Count | 2 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** ComSaf - **Capacity:** 3800 ml - **Color:** Transparent - **Material:** Glass - **Material Feature:** Food Grade ## Images ![ComSaf 128 oz Wide Mouth Mason Jars 2 Pack, 1 Gallon Glass Jars with Lids - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71x3DFd6qSL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Can these jars be used for traditional water-bath canning and fermentation, and do the lids provide an airtight seal?** A: These are ideal for airtight storage and pickling.
