It looks like plastic. I am looking for ceramic or stainless steel** A: It’s a hard rubber coating over (most likely) hard plastic, but can’t be sure what’s underneath. The rubberized coating makes it easy to hold but it’s been dropped a couple of times and help up beautifully so far. We had to replace one early on because the grinder adjuster became faulty, but the company took care of it quickly without hassle. Been happy with them since (had them about 2 years and they take a regular beating at our house) **Q: Do they come filled?** A: They did not. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ デザインと使用感が良い *by on Reviewed in Japan June 9, 2026* 使いかって最高 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ テーブルが汚れない *by on Reviewed in Japan January 19, 2026* グラインド部分が上向きなので、テーブルやカウンターに塩コショウの粉が散らばらない。 ## Frequently Bought Together - Joseph Joseph Milltop Non-Spill Salt and Pepper Mill 2-piece Set, Refillable with Ceramic Grinder, Adjustable Grinding Size, White/Dark Grey - Joseph Joseph Nest 5 Compact Stacking Utensils kitchen tool set with magnetic storage stand, organization, dishwasher safe - Black/Stainless Steel - Joseph Joseph Nest 9 Plus, 9 Piece Compact Food Preparation Set with Mixing Bowls, Measuring cups, Sieve and Colander, Editions Range, Sage Green --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/724884974-joseph-joseph-joseph-joseph-salt-mill-pepper-mill-set-mill](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/724884974-joseph-joseph-joseph-joseph-salt-mill-pepper-mill-set-mill) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
