I used this in my 2011 and now in my 2015 and it has helped with fuel economy. Ford also makes an anti gel additive that can also be used in the 6.7L. **Q: Can i run both pm-22a cetane booster and pm-23-a anti-gel?** A: Yes I used to do all the time. **Q: Amazon product description says: ... promotes fuel stability stops algae growth ... Is this true about stopping algae? Have not seen this claim befor** A: I just went and read the description on amazon, don't see a mention about algae growth, I've used this product while my truck was under warranty. if you are worried about algae growth amazon does sell a product specifically for algae growth but unless you are finding a lot of water in your fuel and use your vehicle regularly I wouldn't worry to much about it. if you are finding water, change gas stations. **Q: Will this help in the winter months as an antigel.** A: I've never used PM-22, but I know that it isn't meant to be used for the winter months. You want PM-23-A for that purpose. I've used PM-23-A for the northern Virginia winter months and my 6.4L kept right on going. Got down to about -5 degrees F for a few days. Truck had no problem starting and remaining running. For the record, pourability is affected for both PM-22 and PM-23-A at lower temperatures. Store the bottle inside your house or in a heated garage else you're going to have a hard time adding it to your fuel. ## Frequently Bought Together - Genuine Ford Accessories (PM-22-A) ULSD Compliant Cetane Booster and Performance Improver - 20 oz. - Motorcraft Oil Filter - FL2124S (Replaces FL2051S) - Ford Genuine Ford Fluid PM-23-A ULSD Compliant Anti-Gel and Performance Improver - 20 oz. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/724665272-genuine-ford-fluid-pm-22-a-ulsd-compliant-cetane-booster](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/724665272-genuine-ford-fluid-pm-22-a-ulsd-compliant-cetane-booster) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-30*
