Review: Tastes great if you like liver, but pricey - Liver is definitely an acquired taste, but it's known as an amazing natural multivitamin. This is great to have when crumbled onto a salad. The dressing and cheese would hide the taste if it's too strong for you. The only downside is the price because one can get frozen liver for much less, but of course you'd have to cook that and eat it right away and couldn't put it in your backpack and take it along with you like you could this product.
Review: If you have ever eaten Beef Liver & Onions in gravy and liked it... Be warned that this is not that. - My wife bought me this as an early Father's Day gift... She has heard me mention before that as a kid, my parents would sometimes serve up a dish of Beef Liver and Onions in a rich gravy, and that I really liked it... So, I guess her heart was in the right place... Unfortunately, after eagerly anticipating the arrival of this "gift", the first piece that entered my mouth, hit my tongue and was then rapidly ejected like a bouncer would eject a drunk from a bar... The taste was ungodly... "Nasty" simply doesn't serve the purpose well enough... the taste is more like dried blood and canned dog food (don't ask... I DO know what that tastes like)... I am sure this is a perfectly good product, and that there are some mentally derang... err... I mean customers out there who would thoroughly enjoy this product... I am not one of them. Please understand that I am not trying to disrespect the producers of this product in any way... I am just giving fair warning to anyone who has eaten liver and onions in gravy and enjoyed it, that they will be dismayed, disappointed and quite possibly in for a bit of a shock when they try this. I'm sure it is every bit as good for you as the package states... but the flavor???? Perhaps if you're into abusing your tastebuds... who am I to judge... rest assured though, I will not purchase any other "liver" product from these guys... I will try their other jerky products because I am a carnivore, and I thoroughly enjoy most meat products... just not this one!

A: Lol, that’s a new one, and hilarious!
The truth is it takes 3-4times the weight of the protein in order to make these nutrient dense gems.  It is not easy either. Give us a try and you will see why we are worth it :)

A: This is what they look like. I'm not sure if they're undefatted. I recommend eating them with something else - unless you like the taste of crunchy beef liver.

**Q: Are these gras-fed and finished?**
A: Hello Zachary,

The ranch we get our cattle from is Santa Carota. They are grass fed and finished, no antibiotics ever and under 30 months of age at harvest. Born, raised and harvested in the USA.

Liver is definitely an acquired taste, but it's known as an amazing natural multivitamin. This is great to have when crumbled onto a salad. The dressing and cheese would hide the taste if it's too strong for you. The only downside is the price because one can get frozen liver for much less, but of course you'd have to cook that and eat it right away and couldn't put it in your backpack and take it along with you like you could this product.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Delicious and nutritious!

I tend to get a bit anemic, and when I do I crave red meat. These are the perfect pick me up! Especially considering it’s not as easy to find beef liver in the grocery store as it used to be. They’re absolutely delicious, and sometimes I let my pup have a little piece of one as an extra special treat. He loves them too!
