Was disappointed when I set it up that the light didn't go on, however, an email to AeroGarden's customer service got a quick response with an answer to what I had missed in the set up and it was fixed. Planted 4 pods with the lettuce seeds that came with it and 2 with some chive seeds I had. Within 3 days tiny lettuce leaves were showing and are now (a week later) they are flourishing happily above the label. One of the chive plants is also peeking above the label now. Look forward to checking my little garden's progress every morning! Review: Hard to believe this piece of junk is manufactured by AeroGarden. - I have had the next grade up for several years, and it worked great. I bought this one because the next level up was not available at the time. It's hard to believe this is manufactured by the same company. It has a cheap parts. It's missing the three control lights (add water, fertilizer, light) and you hold your hand over the hole in the top of the light to turn it off and one. With this model the stand and light are not preassembled. I spent 2 days trying to get the stand pole out of the light fop so it would fit back in the box. No matter what tool I used, I could not depress the small lever that holds the light to the pole to disconnect the two parts. Also, it does not have the plastic domes that act like a green house while waiting for seedlings to emerge. desertcart now has the next level up and I ordered it and as soon as it came in, I tried to put this one back in its box, but the light pole won't disconnect, so it won't fit back in the box. I do NOT recommend this product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looks Great, But Mixed Results with Seeds *by C***G on 18 February 2026* I purchased the **AeroGarden Harvest Lite in Cream** and it’s a very attractive addition to my kitchen — the soft cream finish gives a cozy, modern look, and the compact design fits nicely on my counter. The LED grow light with the built-in timer is convenient and seems well-designed for plant growth. I used seeds from another seller rather than AeroGarden seeds. So far, only 2 out of the 6 pods have successfully grown herbs, while the other 4 developed mold. I think this may be due to the seed quality or how they were stored, but it was disappointing to see so much waste. The water and plant food indicator lights are helpful and make the system easy to use, especially for beginners like me. Overall, it’s a stylish, easy-to-use indoor garden, but success may depend heavily on the seeds you use.
