I really don't drink it for the taste, I drink it because it keeps me awake and I feel like I got more energy in the morning after drinking it. But the taste could be bitter if I put a lot of tea and if the water is too hot. However, if you don't to wake yourself up and stay awake, the bitter the better. I normally filled up 175 degree water to my hot water bottle, and put a full spoon of tea in it. And after one hour, I drink it slowly. It really work for me. Someday when I forgot to make the tea, I felt more sleepy, but if I make it and drink it, I don't feel much sleepy at all. And that's why I keep coming back and but this tea. Like I said, I don't like the bitter taste, but I think when it is more bitter, it works to keep me awake.
