I ordered 6 of them and that was the number in each of them. **Q: What type of backing/wall is needed to adhere these bricks to?** A: I adhered the bricks straight to my dry wall. I used loctite power grab that I bought at Lowe’s. The thicker pieces might need a few more seconds of pressure when you place them on the wall. Worked great. **Q: Can you apply this over floor tile?** A: It can be put over floor tile you've installed on a wall but I wouldn't put it over tile on the floor. Brick is made of clay and not as strong as tile. **Q: Is this real brick? Also each box had a Home Depot packing slip. Not sure if you get them from Home Depot or not...but that could explain all the broken bricks.
