Easy to use; just pick it up, wait for the tuning beep, then wave it over the material. I had a daunting task to reclaim about 400 square feet of antique tongue & groove flooring. Sensitivity was perfect for my needs. It identified every nail remnant and tack head that was embedded in the wood.
