Review: Works great! - Seems to be working! I was skeptical, after having used several other things to try and rid my yard of moles. I sprayed my front yard three times with one gallon mixed up following the instructions. I mixed it into a 15 gallon spot sprayer. Within at least two weeks of the second application, I noticed a marked reduction in activity and since the third application, I haven't seen any activity in my front yard. I'm going to get a second gallon to treat my back yard and hit the front yard again. Just be aware, this is, obviously, an oil. So your grass will be a bit slick after applying it. It does have a slight odor, but not a chemical odor or anything like that. I wouldn't apply it right before a heavy rain, but maybe when the grass is slightly damp (e.g. heavy dew or right after a rain...) as it may help it soak into the ground quicker. I applied mine about 4-6 weeks apart. I used the "finest cheapest" store brand dish soap (will help it mix in the water for spraying).
Review: Voles repellent - I use it once and the voles did not come back

## Questions & Answers

**Q: what is the mix ratio oil, soap, water?**
A: 1 cup of caster oil, 1/2 cup dawn detergent in 1 gallon of water. I also add 1 atblespoon of cayenne pepper to the mix. I read about it in someone else's homemade mix. Decided to try it. Seems to help... plus, it makes me laugh to think of the moles sneezing when they come into contact with itl

**Q: how do you use it?**
A: Here are the directions, we will get this on the site shortly:

Directions:
Apply at the first sign of mole activity. For best results, begin applications in the early spring, however, Natural Elements Mole and Vole Repellent can be applied anytime of the year

-1 cup Natural Elements Mole Repellent
-1/2 Cup Liquid Dish Soap

Add mixed solution to a 1 gallon pump sprayer, add 1 gallon of water and shake well. Apply evenly to the soil. For best results, apply after rainfall or watering or water lawn after application to begin to soak the product into the soil. Repeat as necessary until mole activity is gone.

**Q: Do you have to cover the entire yard?**
A: No...you want to cover the worse spots in a way to move the moles in the direction you want them to move, expanding the coverage over a month or so to expand the area.

**Q: No picture of the "label".....?**
A: Instructions are on the bottle.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Voles repellent
*by E***H on 12 June 2026*

I use it once and the voles did not come back

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Doesn't get rid of moles or voles but it does seem to reduce their numbers
*by A***W on 15 June 2026*

This is not a solution to mole/vole infestations but it will help keep them away after trapping/fumigating. I use this with my CO2 gassing machine. It coats their tunnels and seems to keep them away for a while. Anything is a big help when you have a bad infestation. It's all natural so it won't harm the environment. There is no noticiable scent for humans but probably a nasty one for Voles, Moles or Gophers. I have a gopher problem and castor oil is a good repellant. So it's effective for my application.
