## Description

Product Description Sometimes slower is better - especially when it comes to the rate of protein digestion. While rapid protein absorption is great immediately before or after exercise, delayed release is probably more beneficial first thing in the morning or at bedtime and that where Deluxe Nutrition's Casein comes in to play. Casein proteins are pH sensitive and gel in the acidic environment of the stomach. As a result, it can take more than twice as long for caseins to be broken-down into their amino acid subcomponents than whey and other proteins and this is why Casein is the best protein to take last thing at night . Because of their unique time-released qualities, caseins are aptly described as anti-catabolic or muscle-protecting proteins. So, don't stop feeding your muscles at night take Casein at night and grow while you are asleep!! Deluxe Nutrition Casein is naturally high in Branch Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs) and has an excellent overall amino acid profile. Amino Acids have a wide range of benefits ranging from building muscle to improving recovery after exercise. Ingredients Micellar Casein

The product is as described. Easy mixing, can be used even with water; no need for a mixer. No dominant taste

Usage of tje Deluxe Casein producgt.

*by P***W on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 21 December 2013*

I was instructed by my diabetic consultant to go on a carbohydrate free diet. I was bold about your product by my grandson who uses it for body building. I found that it was so useful as a meal replacement, and with its help lost a stone in 8 weeks. However, having gone back to a diet containing carbs, I have put back on 6 lb in a month. Have decided that I want to be carbs free permanently.

Maybe Deluxe but the taste ia awful!

*by A***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 14 November 2014*

I cannot understand how a product development team allowed a product with such an awful taste reach the market. Even if in their eyes they have developed the best casein in the market, have they ever tasted it? Alone is undrinkable but even when mixed with other proteins (e.g., 1 part whey, 1 part soy, 1 part casein), milk AND honey it tastes vile. Guys you may have a very good product but with this taste it will not get anywhere. Drinking it is a real torture, not one that I am ready to endure!
