I did not buy this because it was SOA merchandise. It has no collar to hit you in the face you ride. It was delivered on time and in perfect condition. The quality was much better than I expected and about as good as you are going to get. It's well lined. The material is heavy and the lining is heavy. The gun pockets will easily hold a full size 1911. The only problem is the fit. I got an XL ( I'm in the 46/48 chest range and in the 36/38 30 pants range) and it fits a bit loose and it's too tall for my tastes. But I'm going to wear it anyway. It may shrink if I wash it in hot water. I'd buy this again and I might just by another one to keep in reserve.Later that night...Wow...I washed it in hot and dried it on hot. It did shrink but not as much as I thought. Several hot washings and dryings should help and I judge that it will survive a lot more washing and drying if I want to once it has shrunk as much as possible. KIno0w that it weights a lot more than you might expect from a denim vest. It's lined with more denim. I'm buying another one. If the style is what you want, get yours now before the world goes to hell.UPDATE: 11-08-2016. Repeated washing did not shrink it. So...I ordered a smaller one. I received a Size LARGE today. It fits properly. I am a 48 chest and 38 waist. 5' 9" 210 lbs. I have a normal size and 38 30 jeans always fit, XL always fits, 17 collar shirts always fit. The XL should have fit. Apparently these things are too big. As an aside, the XL concealed TWO full size 1911's completely.

I was very pleased with this product. First class materials fit and finish. I wear my vests like a second skinso this will see lots of use especially with colder temperatures. Always get one size bigger than you think you need and I don't think you'll go wrong.

I am a big person I wear 4x tshirts on the regular. I ordered the vest in 4x, it does not come close to fitting me. Maybe I read the chart wrong. The shoulders fit correctly, and the length of the torso is good. The fit around the belly is just not there at all it may fit someone who wears a size large or extra large but it doea not fit a person if significant girth like myself.

Great quality and a great fit.I honestly almost did not buy this vest because of the name. In my life the SOA show is kind of a joke. I'm glad I disregarded the name and bought it anyway. They should think about selling it without the SOA name.
