Blade is unsharpened, but sturdy enough for a nice display piece. - Blade has a nice shine to it, and the scabbard has a foam? lining that covers/protects the blade as it's sheathed. It's a bit wobbly if you move it up and down horizontally but its to be expected with a cheap material. Nonetheless, I didn't buy it to chop down my annoying neighbor so it's ok. Looks good and that's all I wanted. 10/10, would buy again and do plan to buy the rest of the set from the seller. side note; The leather on the scabbard is quite easy to move, so be careful as you unsheathe the sword so you don't move the leather out of place. Belt attached is cheap but for the price again, to be expected.
Review: Realistic and Beautiful but heavier than the scabbard can bear. - This was the perfect prop for my Halloween costume. However the included strap for holding the sword is nowhere near strong enough to hold the weight of the sword. Other than that it was fantastic.

**Q: Is the blade quality good? How well dose it take damage?**
A: It is pretty good. I've used it as a prop sword for 3 film shoots. It managed through the takes we couldn't use foam.

**Q: Is it sturdy?**
A: Yes the sword is sturdy. I did put some super glue on handle bc it would come lose but not anymore.  I really like sword!!

**Q: Will it kill the saracens? deus vult deus vult**
A: no

**Q: Would the sword be study enough to swing around?**
A: yes

This sword was perfect for my crusader king costume for the renaissance festival AND Halloween costume last year!!!! I was surprised how solid it was. Made me want to get into a sword fight!!! LOL... jk! I was impressed! It not only is well built but it looked really cool!!! Definitely worth it!
