With some trimming of the roller pipe end fittings it will work with a $10 closet pipe from the box stores. Other kits like this with the pipe sell for over $100!!! (For 55" width and my fabric was a 6' length). The included brackets allow plenty of clearance for a pipe full of fabric and roll smooth.The screen I used is solar shade and is heavy but this kit works fine and seems durable. I will end up changing out the stringed plastic bead pull to a metal bead string because I don't see a way to trim it. I didn't want to spend the $30 plus for an original replacement so I tried this. Definitely not the same quality as the original but after one year of use it's still working. There are a lot of plastic parts which made me worry and the cord/chain is also less durable.
