Sure it’s more expensive than silica per pound, but this stuff works really well, and I find it keeps moisture levels lower for a lot longer than silica did. There’s no color change to indicate it’s time to dry it out, but I’m running a hydrometer for that. I don’t have to worry about the toxicity of the chemical makeup when cooking off the moisture to recharge like I did with silica. I ended up buying a second 2lb bottle, as one contained a little more than what fills up all the dry pods in my BambuLab AMS + 4x reel pods.
