It can be very easily cut to fit well with a hobby knife. It says it is for the surface book 2, but the cut is just a tad off. The vinyl is pretty thick and you can feel a nice heavy cover over the surface. The application process is very easy, and the small textured sticky surface makes it completely bubble free. I was looking for a skin that would match the Sandstone color since I wanted to keep the general appearance of the laptop the same. The Gold color is near identical and I couldn't be more pleased.This skin was also very easy to apply. It's nice and thick so there's a low chance of getting air bubbles stuck under it.
