The test was easy to do and was easy to send back in a prepaid FedEx envelope. It took almost two weeks to get the results via email (probably took a little longer because of the holiday season). The results also recommended a couple of products to help with my low morning cortisol and slightly high afternoon cortisol. Right after I got my results, the doctor called and discussed the results with me. I advised him that I also have the MTHFR C667 gene. He asked me to look to see if I have the COMT gene variant rs4680 and to call to let him know. I found that I do have the COMT gene he referred to. I called and left a message for him to call me back, which I am sure he will do. He seemed to really want to help with my specific health situation. He may have some other supplements that will help my genetic problems too. It is hard to find a local doctor who knows anything about MTHFR. I feel like I am on track with this now and maybe will finally find some things to help.
