I got it almost a year ago and it was around $39 on sale. I figured it would be a good display for some box sets. I built it, put the LED lights on the back, set it to the color red and its been plugged in for a year now and let me tell you...it lasts. Non-stop all year and it has yet to burn out. Shelf looks cool, its sturdy and easy to assemble. The LED strip is just an adhesive strip that you would put behind a TV but it lasts. Is the shelf worth $100? No. It is worth basically what they are selling it for. I will add that I don't have dozens of pounds on the shelves. I have collectors edition game boxsets. I don't think it would be wise to put a 20lb item on a single shelf and expect anything good to come of it. That would be a dumb thing to do with any corner shelf mind you. Price is good. Quality is good.
