Good Protection and added traction! *by S***G on Reviewed in the United States on January 16, 2015* Fits Sphero perfectly. It is a tight fit, but goes on easily. Using this cover makes the Sphero able to go onto low-pile carpet as well. Without it... it just spins. It didn't work well on our longer carpet though. It is a nice protective cover so the Sphero won't get scratched while using it outdoors. I haven't tried it in water, but can see that the "nubs" on the ball would really help to gain momentum. I take it off for charging the Sphero. It is easy on and off. I would say it is a "must have" for the Sphero. I wouldn't want mine to get all scratched or dinged when using it.
