The first one lasted 16 years, and would have lasted much longer, if not indefinitely, but for the way I used it. I have a floating dock and have a power cable GFI breaker protected, that runs from my house down to my dock. I use one of these cable grips to take the weight and stress off of my terminal wiring connection.
