## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can these grow on Tamarack or pine?**
A: Ideal substrate would be oak or other hardwoods... But must age 3-4 weeks before plugging... Sweet Gum trees work and don't have to cure... Can be plugged right away.  No pines or evergreens.

**Q: Can these be grown on Leyland Cypress logs?**
A: Unfortunately no.

However you should be able to grow Phoenix Oyster on it.

good looking plugs with a lot of mycelium. enough to inoculate on small tulip poplar log (3" diameter by 40" long) and one red maple log (5" by 30"). We shall see later on if they fruit!!
