Review: Worth My Effort - I am so happy about the results of this seed mixture! It began germinating in 2 weeks, just as it said. The first pic is before I got results. I am now at week 3, and it continues to grow and spread. Some areas grew before others. Slow, but sure. The water was key. The green color is so rich and vibrant! The quality of the blades is definitely better than my existing grass. I failed to put the accompanying fertilizer down, because I did not see this recommendation until after I received the shipment and read the instructions. I will do that when I seed again in the fall. I did this myself. Because it is still fairly cool, I chanced doing this in mid to late May. I checked the10-day forecast first. I tilled the ground specifically in spots where the grass was gone completely, and just lightly mixed it in with other saturated areas. I used my hand to throw the seeds down versus my seeding barrow in order to better concentrate on the bare spots. I watered it no less than every other day until the rains conveniently came. I tried to time it that way. I was so excited when I saw grass peeping! I have a corner that is very shady in the front due to lots of trees. Had bare spots for along time until I decided to take charge of my embarrassing yard. This is working perfectly! I look forward to seeing it in 6 weeks! Cutting it soon. As you have to wait a bit. It will need another pass to get the density I ultimately want. Definitely buying this again!

**Q: does this seed grow in sun?**
A: It has for me, but its best quality is being able to grow in very dense shade. I've tried every seed out there and nothing compares to this. You should see our yard now, it looks better than Augusta National!

**Q: Is this perennial?**
A: The Texas winter storm of 2021 didn't faze it at all.  It was zero degrees, and I actually think it liked it.  It's been a couple of weeks (after the hard freeze) and I have to mow it already.  Dark green and beautiful.  I think it's better to seed in the fall and let the roots get established before the top soil gets too hot.

**Q: how well will it do in zone 8? Milledgeville, Georgia**
A: I can't answer for Georgia but in Illinois it did not work as well as I had expected it to.
