Out of the package they have a starched, pressed sheen, but after a single wash they coarsened right up to toothy burlap. The head and foot of the fitted sheet aren't made from the same striped, woven fabric. They are just a plain, coarser piece of cheaper linen, like something you'd see on the sides of a mattress pad. Perhaps over time they will get a wee bit softer, but overall a big disappointment. I'm surprised Kathy would put her name on this. I have several pieces of her furniture line that are well made and reasonably priced. The quality of these sheets don't match up. For $40 I certainly wasn't expecting Egyptian cotton, but something at least serviceable. I wouldn't let a guest sleep on these, not even my mother-in-law. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Some details incorrect *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on December 10, 2018* Sheets are nice enough; however, TWO details that were selling points for me are completely incorrect.1. Listing states that the sheets fit mattresses from 5” to 20”. Unfortunately, the packaging very clearly states that the sheets fit mattresses up to 18”.2. There are no corner straps as pictured/described.I’ll keep the sheets as they’re nice enough and do fit our mattress (that is 18” thick), but I am disappointed that the description is incorrect and wanted to warn others that may also be depending on those details to make their decision. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful Sheets *by A***C on Reviewed in the United States on January 16, 2019* I just purchased 1 Queen sets of sheets for my guest rooms. Before placing them on the beds I, of course, washed them in cold water and dried them in the clothes dryer. They came out beautiful! For those people who commented on them wrinkling...they are cotton and cotton wrinkles. If it bothers you that much, get a can of spray sizing and iron them! That is what I did with the pillow cases and they came out beautiful! The workmanship is perfect.
