The Shoals [red] and Fish [Yellow] are excellent. The Eggs [Amber] are good, but do have a tendency to go flying.

The replacement pieces are much better but there are not enough to replace all of the origional pieces. If you are playing with more than 3 players you’ll likely run out.

Lovely tokens - the squishy little eggs are a delight in particular - but be warned that there isn’t enough here for a 5 player game. While we frequently come close to running out of eggs, the red school tokens in particular are always in disappointingly short supply. Most of the final round sees players just having to stack 3 young tokens and simply “pretend” it was a school - those numbers can run low then, too!In fairness, I wouldn’t recommend playing Finspan at that player count anyway (it really drags), but if the game officially supports 5 players, so too should the component quantities.

I love a meeple so had to purchase these when I got Finspan. The quality is great and they’re perfect for the game. The only negative is the price. I do wish that the eggs would have been included in the game (rather than the cardboard tokens) like they are for Wingspan and Wrymspan.
