This allows the phone case to absorb an impact in the event of falls "screen down" while keeping the screen a few millimeters above the impact surface. I can vouch for this as mine has hit the ground a few times with no damage to the screen or screen protector at all. The feel of the case is perfect. It has a texture which gives the phone an easier feel giving less of a chance of dropping it. The magsafe aspect of the case also works, and quite well I might add. I have had my magsafe charger attached and it has a heck of a grip, requiring a good amount of force to pull it from the back of the case while charging. This may annoy some people as it's grip is is quite strong, but if that is something you would consider a negative thing, maybe a magsafe case is not right for you.It comes in a few pretty nice and balanced colors. I went with the green as my phone is also green so it flows together quite well.All in all, it's a great case and definitely worth a look.The price was right as well.Recommendation: If you go with this or any open case such as this, remove it every few weeks to clean dust from the phone.
