I was surprised to find how much bigger they are than normal cotton pads (brilliant for getting makeup off) and also how much softer they are (I never realised how scratchy cotton pads are!) I was initially sceptical that they would stain from my makeup but they have washed up beautifully - I pop the dirty ones straight into the mesh bag they came with and just zip it up and pop it in my normal wash when there’s a few in there.
