The Ghost Chili Pepper is confirmed to be one of the hottest peppers on earth, with a scorching 1,001,304 Scoville Heat rating, over three to four times hotter than a habanero! Review: Definitely worth it! - Love these guys! I live in Alaska so growing plants can be tricky. We have a two month window during the growing season to get it right but these guys send live mature plants which makes my life much easier. I previously bought two Carolina Reapers from these guys and they're doing great. Decided on buying a couple ghost pepper plants and they look pretty healthy right out of the box. I'll give them a few days to acclimate (standard operating procedure when ordering plants online) before repotting but I'm super excited. The boxes will likely get beat up in transport but thats on the post office, the plants have arrived in great shape despite that and both orders already had flowers when I unboxed. I'm definitely a regular now and will be ordering from these guys in the future. Pictures below are an hour after unboxing!

**Q: It says needs a hot climate to survive. How hot is to hot? Is the low 100 degree range to hot for outdoor planting?**
A: Many people grow these peppers in the horrest regions of the world. We have found though that if grown in climates which exceeds 100 degrees daily, the plants perform best when slightly shaded during the hottest part of the day. Also make sure they are properly watered

A: yes

**Q: What pot size should these plants be put in and what type of soil? Is Miracle gro potting mix ok?**
A: I would suggest ghost peppers be planted in a pot size with a minimum of 12", Probably 14" would be best. When the plant gets tall and full of peppers, you want it to be sturdy enough that it won't tip over. Use a nice, rich, potting soil. Miracle-Gro is fine unless you would like the plants to be grown organically, then just choose an organic potting mix. Place the plant in a sunny location and water as needed. Thanks!

**Q: I live in ohio, and its July 24. Is it to late to purchse this and expect to have decent peppers. And how till time for picking?**
A: The plants we ship are pretty big but they will still need some time to grow. Probably a couple of months for full fruit. At this point in the year (late July)my recommendation would be to put them in a pot. That way if there is cool weather in October you can move them in for protection and then out again for those warm October days. In Illinois last year I was picking fruit even in early November with that method.

### ⭐⭐⭐ Great plant but had spider mites !

Plants was not bad but after I put in my grow tent alone for a few days I notice leaves curling in under with thick webs and knew what that meant! Spider mites ! I investigated them more and found a lot of little white spots very small moving around and used my magnifying glass to spot them ! Due to that buyer beware !
