That's because I wanted one with enough room to fit 4 meal prep containers, while being as small as possible so I could carry it to work every day along with my purse--one on each shoulder. So what I really wanted was something that defies the laws of physics by being super roomy inside and yet small on the outside.This bag is sturdy and serves its purpose just fine. I'm not sure about the level of insulation, haven't really tested it, but I wouldn't trust it to keep things cool for several hours. It is pretty large for something you carry like a cross body purse, but it's very light when empty. I kind of wish it was just one compartment; I don't think it would really effectively keep things warm in one compartment and cold in the other, and if it were just one compartment it would be easier to fit more odd shaped containers in there. ### ⭐⭐ Not my favorite *by T***R on Reviewed in the United States on July 5, 2019* Even with ice packs this lunch cooler doesn’t keep things cold for very long (a few hours maybe?)
